MIG - Metal Inert Gas Welding Process, GTAW - (arc welding process using tungsten electrode to produce a weld). Classes consist of a short welding safety discussion and process equipment orientation including assembly and set up of equipment. The remainder of the class is all hands on welding and discussion. CLASS LENGTH: Minimum one two-hour session, with additional one-hour sessions as needed.
FEE: $75.00 per hour . . . $125.00 for two hours - includes materials and equipment usage.
FLUX CORE, FCAW - (arc welding process that uses a continuously fed consumable electrode that contains flux at its core). It is also referred to as self shielded or duel shielded welding. Classes consist of a short welding safety discussion and process equipment orientation including assembly and set up of equipment. The remainder of the class is all hands on welding and discussion. CLASS LENGTH: Minimum one two-hour session, additional one-hour sessions available as needed.
STICK - Shielded Metal Arc Welding Process, SMAW - (manual arc welding process that uses a consumable electrode coated in flux to lay the weld). Classes consist of a short welding safety discussion and process equipment orientation including assembly and set up of equipment. The remainder of the class is all hands on welding and discussion. CLASS LENGTH: Minimum three-hour session, additional sessions available as needed.
FEE: $75.00 per hour . . . $125.00 for two hours . . . $175.00 for three hours, additional one-hour sessions as needed - includes materials and equipment usage. OPTIONAL
Pre-Qualification Certification Fee: $35.00 LOCATION - All classes are performed at our Avondale location. However, classes may be arranged at your facility. Travel time charges apply.
